frequently asked questions

What is a cradled wood panel?

A cradled, or mounted, wood panel is a rigid support offering a striking alternative to works of art on canvas. No framing required! I keep the side free of paint to display the natural birch wood.

Do you use archival, environmentally friendly materials?

I use quality archival materials. This includes natural mediums and mild citrus solvents. I am currently experimenting with mixing and using natural paints.

Do you accept commissioned pieces?

Yes. I prefer to call them personalized paintings. I can paint from your photo in my unique style.

What shipping options do you offer?

I offer UPS ground or expedited in Canada and the US. If you are located somewhere else, please let me know and we can arrange delivery.

How much does shipping cost?

The shipping price is calculated based on weight of each item.

Are you interested in being contacted by galleries or agents?

Yes. I am actively looking for retail and showing opportunities.

Do you accept visitors at your studio?

Yes. In person is always the best way to experience a piece of art. I am in Regina, Saskatchewan. If you’re in the area, stop by!

Do you paint from your own sources?

Most of the time. I spend the summer months hiking around Saskatchewan forests and the Canadian Shield gathering photographs and painting en plein air. I do, however, take liberties and add a tree, rock, or hill here and there.
